The Insight course is the 2nd course that allows the person to know themselves more deeply both psychologically and spiritually. The course is best followed after the well-being course to give you a grounding in meditation and mindfulness practices. The course allows you deep insights into who you really are.
Week 1 : Orientation
Correct postures for alignment, the purpose of the course and mindfulness of the breath.
Week 2 : Stress
An explanation of stress and how to deal with it, an insight into ourselves and the unborn meditation practice.
Week 3 : Psychological effects of meditation
The mental improvements from the practice, the physical changes within the brain and the Koan meditation practice.
Week 4 : The physical effects of meditation and mindfulness
The physical improvements from meditation and mindfulness practice, the correct way to breathe and healing with the soft ointment practice.
Week 5 : Elevated function
How meditation slows down aging and creates a feel good factor, elevated production of positive hormones and development of the hara.
Week 6: Stages of insight
Epiphanies into who you are, self knowledge of your past and present and the Naikan meditation practice.
Week 7 : Where is it all going?
A progression of spiritual development, transforming your daily life and the Naitan meditation practice.
Week 8 : Changing your life
Deep sense of health and well-being, an insight into who you truly are and the bringing it all together meditation practice.
Creating a meditation habit:
The project in person within a group setting is just £180 for 8 weeks. For our online group, or 1-2-1 online, the cost is reduced to just £120. You will get access to guided meditation recordings, class presentations and catch up videos. Plus you have an option to join our Mind Health practice group after the course to continue the positive habit and have ongoing support.
