The Mind Health Project exists to help empower people improve their mental health and well-being. Whether that is fighting depression, decreasing stress or overcoming anxiety. We offer professional and proven methods for mental well-being.
We offer 8 week mindfulness courses that can deliver improvements to mental health, decrease sick days and fight depression. The course is designed to empower each individual so they can practice effectively, build an encouraging support network and practice deeply at home.
Background: My own personal experience first began with qigong practice as a teenager. I found it a measure of peace in the anxiety I was experiencing. I then explore Buddhist meditation courses and practiced daily at home. I found this a transformative process to my life. Things just seemed to get better without any trying.
I continued the training but wanted to learn more seriously. By chance a friend recommended a teacher who had come back from Japan. The teacher was Julian Daizan Skinner who is a Zen master and lineage holder in Japan. A genuinely authentic teacher who has lived and breathed the monastery life. I studied with him a 200 hour mindfulness and meditation course to improve my life and offer the same life changing benefits to others.
My qualifications are accredited by Zenways, The International Mindfulness Teachers Association, The Yoga Alliance, The Independent Yoga Network and The College of Mindful Clinicians.
